Aunt Judy will all have a special place in our hearts.. Always putting her family before herself, always caring and warm but wouldn't let you get away with anything on her watch. She had that tough but loving way to let you know don't do anything stupid however if you did she was the one you could always trust to talk to. So glad we were able to surprise her with our visit. She will always and forever hold a very special place in our lives and heart. Xo Kevin and Joy
I have fond memories of the Reger house. Mrs Reger was always so warm and welcoming to “us teenagers”. I am sorry for the loss of a great lady. My thoughts are with the family. God bless
My earliest memories of Ms. Reger go back to the days when Don and I were teenagers. I always felt she was aware of what we were up to but always trusted us that we would use proper judgement and not go crazy. I was always made to feel welcome and comfortable in your parents home. In the not to distant past, in Las Vegas, when we had a few seconds alone Ms. Reger did share with me how proud of Don she was for the man that he had become. She spoke of the sacrifices that he made in order to make her more comfortable in her time of need. I will always remember her as a kind and loving woman. She will be missed by all who knew her.
I like many of my New York and Florida friends have a lot of memories of Mrs Reger. We all remember the annual New year's Eve parties down in the Reger's basement. We were doing many things high schoolers and twenty something's should have never been doing. ( Some illegal )...But as long as we were together and not driving Mr. and Mrs. Reger left us alone and trusted us to behave. Another one was playing blackjack in downtown Vegas on one of her and Donny's Vegas trips. And us playing and drinking and her asking me "Spike, should I hit or stay?" I loved that she called me Spike. She was strong and stubborn but, a total sweetheart of a lady. And she fought hard in her final years. But, it was her time for her to fly with the angels. Rest easy Mrs Reger...Much love. Spike.
We'll forever remember Judy as Donny's loving mom, and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother ♥️ Judy always welcomed us to her home with open arms and treated us as family also. We'll always cherish the memories of all the wonderful holiday get-togethers full of love, laughter, and too much delicious food. Always loved, may she rest in peace.

My fondest memory of Aunt Judy is when she had the triplets (as babies) at her house in Ronkonkoma. She was minding them for a week so Tracy and I would go over every afternoon to join in the assembly line. We fed, bathed and settled down for the night those delightful little girls. Aunt Judy loved her family and there were many exciting adventures with DJ and the girls. She will be missed.
Meeting Mom and Dad for the first time up in New York, Mom took me in like one of her own. She always wanted to see pictures of the kids and to give me a message in life. She was a very kind soul and you could just feel the love she radiated. When helping Donnie move Mom And Dad to Florida I knew it was going to be fun having them close. I wish Dad could have held out a couple more years. My fondest memory would have to be the Birthday party for Dad over at my house with all the family around from New York and all the family and friends from Florida, with the Mets and the Yankees playing for the pennant and fireworks going off in the back. Everyone was so happy and having a great time. The proud look on Moms face and the happiness that Dad was having was priceless! I am really going to miss you Mom but I know you are sitting right next to Dad watching over all of us! Love you Mom and my deepest condolences to the Reger Family.
I remember Aunt Judy as a young bride. She was stunningly beautiful with her dark hair and vibrant personality. Now she’s with Uncle Bobby again in heaven. God bless them. ❤️
I don't think this obituary gives any justice to the superwoman, that was my grandma. She was the woman who had mine back operations and still would try to clean until she was falling over. She was the person who taught me about my faith, always praying with me and teaching me what was right from wrong. I could talk to her about anything and she was understanding. She would tell me the wildest stores, my favorite being the one about how she beat up 3 grown Hawaiian men in an elevator who picked on our dad. As for the cooking part, my Gma always had the best recipes, and I'll forever miss her homemade fudge during the holidays. I'll never forget her morning breakfast routine towards the end. Toaster strudels (with Equal), cinnamon and apples oatmeal (with Equal), coffee (with Equal and 1/2 & 1/2 creamer) and probably a fudge pop thrown in there. Cream soda was her fuel and kept her lively. I miss that crazy woman, but she was will be gone because she lives on in my heart. Until we meet again, Gma
