Judith M. Palowitch's Obituary
PALOWITCH, Judith (Judy) Marie, 70, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on December 23, 2020. Judy was born on July 17, 1950 in El Paso, Texas to Henry and Gloria Laliker.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Henry and Gloria Laliker and brother, Bobby.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; and two children, Christopher, Britney Nuckolls; son-in-law Christopher Nuckolls; grandchildren, Isabella and Layton; step-son Dirk; her sister Deborah Siebieneichen (Michael Siebieneichen); brother Richard Laliker (Jackie Laliker), who adored her and by many more nieces, nephews and friends all who cherished her.
As a daughter of an Air Force and Department of Defense officer, Judy lived in several stateside locations and overseas countries; but most of her life was lived in Florida, spending the majority of that time walking along Indialantic Beach - her favorite outdoor setting. She enjoyed trips to see her children and vacations with her closest friends. All she ever wanted in life was to be a mother and adored by her family. We will always remember Judy’s ability to never meet a stranger. She was compassionate, loving, and cared deeply for her family and friends.
We want to always remember that Judy was so strong willed and determined which allowed her to live so long; breaking the rules by getting out of bed onto her mobility scooter and enjoying a nice glass of Disaronno. Let’s all cheer for her beautiful life and her story.
The family offers a special thank you to all the nurses, hospital and Hospice medical staff that took care of Judy; especially, Christel Mojica for the untiring compassionate care of Judy and our family.
There will be a church service on 12 February 9:00am at St Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora followed by a celebration of life at our home in Mount Dora for the family.
The Funeral Mass will be streamed live on YouTube (St Patrick Church Mount Dora) for those who cannot attend in person.
Final resting will be at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL on Saturday, February 13, at 10:30 AM
Judy requested that any donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Hospital or to www.scleroderma.org
