Judith Gross Lee's Obituary
Judith Gross Lee, 80 of Tavares, Florida went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2022. She died peacefully of complications with Alzheimer's. Judy was born September 2, 1942 in Puerto Rico. She leaves behind her husband, Carroll Lee, her son, John Pedraja, her daughter Karen Grace Pedraja, her sister Lydia Marsh, her sister Carmen Colon and her brother Jose Colon, her step children, Marshall Lee, Don Lee and Sean Lucas. A memorial service will be held at Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish, 226 East Burleigh Blvd. (Hwy 441) Tavares, Fl. 32778 at 12pm Saturday, October 22, 2022. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please make a donation to Encore Creativity. 147 Old Solomons Island Road, Suite 211, Annapolis, Md. 21401. Encore's mission is to provide an excellent and accessible artistic environment for older adults, and is the new creative home of Joshua Vickery who was very special to Judy. Judy was born in Puerto Rico and spent her early years in New York City. She was a diamond salesperson and met the love of her life, Carroll, in North Carolina while on a business trip in the late 80's. She later moved to Florida to be with her Mom, Lydia Lugo and her sister, Lydia Marsh. She reconnected with Carroll while on a business trip. The rest is history. They were married on June 25, 1994 at Hawks Key in the Florida Middle Keys with a gorgeous sunset wedding. They formed a representative sales company, Fins Marketing selling consumer electronics to retail and distributor accounts. Judy was proficient in Spanish and handled accounts in Miami, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and South America. She also participated in a business trip to China with her good friend, Lou Riche. The Lees moved the business to Central Florida and Tavares, Royal Harbor ten years ago to be closer to family and friends. She felt right at home and received excellent care from Dr. Veronica Chastain of Advent Health and Cornerstone Home Hospice. She was blessed to find these wonderful health care professionals.
