Juanita May Friedeborn's Obituary
Juanita May Friedeborn, age 66, of Leesburg, passed away on August 13, 2009. She was born in Sandwich, MA. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tavares. She had been a school bus driver and she loved birds, especially eagles. She was a life member of AMVETS #1992, past President of the American Legion, Unit 219, Fruitland Park and past District Chaplain American Legion Auxiliary 6th District. She is survived by her husband Earl Friedeborn of Leesburg; daughters, Lin Dedekian of Mashpee, MA., Vicky Jones of South Berwick, ME, Stacey Leibensperger of Eustis; brother, Charles Fairbanks of Columbus, GA; sisters, Carol Bassett of Leesburg, FL Janet Cressey of Valdosta, GA; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Barrett. Friends may call on family from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at First United Methodist Church of Tavares with Pastor John Barham officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 219 for the Spinoza Bear Fund.
