Joseph P. Laessig, Sr., age 88, of Tavares passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. He was born March 25, 1927 in Jersey City, NJ and moved to Lake County in 2001. He was a retired drill press operator and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his son, Joseph Laessig, Jr. of Tavares, FL; daughter, Dolores Sucholbiak of Leesburg, FL; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
