I just happened to locate this information on the death of my friend Joe at Eustis Florida. I cannot believe that Joe is no longer with us, it seems just like a month or so ago we were together at his home in Tavares talking and remembering old times. I had no idea he was ill or that ill anyway. Most of us at the mid-70s could have anything happen at any time. Joe is a good friend, a good soldier, and he will be missed by many - Bob Busby
Praying for the family. Joe worked for me at Sumter SC Sheriff’s Office. He was one of the most trusted and loyal friends I ever had. One of a kind, stand up guy to the end.

We are so sorry to hear about the death of Joe. I worked with him for a short time at the Sumter Sheriff's office in S.C. From there I worked with him as a polygraph examiner for several years. It's fair to say he was my mentor in polygraph. I learned a lot from him not only about polygraph but invesitgations as well. Joe always said what he meant and meant what he said. I knew if he told me something I could count on it. I will miss him and my wife and I are praying for his family.
