In Memoriam: John Allen Tucker (1952-2024)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Allen Tucker, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and esteemed member of the community. John peacefully left this world on January 29th, at the age of 71, surrounded by his loving family.
John was born in Salem, Ohio, in 1952, and throughout his life, he touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was a devoted husband to Cynthia Tucker for 52 years, a loving father to Angela Braswell (Bobby), Annette Jackson, Heather Cetrone (Dennis), and Bryson Tucker (Brittney).
John's greatest joy in life came from his role as a grandfather to eight grandchildren, Sarah, Hollis, Alyssa, Dante, Andrew, Victoria, Kaden, and Lennyn. He cherished each moment spent with them, and their laughter and smiles brought warmth to his heart.
Professionally, John dedicated his life to the open road, working as a truck driver. In the later years of his career, he transitioned to become a skilled diesel mechanic at Carroll Fulmer Logistics, where he continued to showcase his dedication and expertise until his retirement.
In addition to his family and career, John was an avid boater and member of the CFC – Central Florida Cruise Club. His adventures on the water and on the road presented plenty of material to be an enthusiastic storyteller, sharing tales of all his adventures and imparting wisdom gained through a lifetime of experiences. His sense of humor and positive outlook on life endeared him to those around him, leaving a lasting impact on the hearts of family, friends, and acquaintances.
John Allen Tucker leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In this time of sorrow, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives and find solace in the cherished memories we share.
