John T. Ross, age 80, of Tavares passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010. He was born October 22, 1929 in Central City, PA and moved to Lake County 16 years ago from Ft. Lauderdale. He was a retired painter. His interests and hobbies included fishing, hunting, and NASCAR. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joan of Tavares, FL.A Memorial Service for Mr. Ross was held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. Inurment followed at Tavares Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778.
