John Wesley Spence's Obituary
John Wesley Spence, age 69, of Eustis passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. He was born September 20, 1949 in Hartford City, IN to Harry M. Spence and Mary N. (Young) Spence. He worked for T.G. Lee Dairy, was an Arnold Bread Distributor, and worked with his son at Hoosier Lawn Services. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Kim Spence; 3 children, Eric Spence (Erin), Cassandra Taylor (Chris), and Shanna Lanctot (Nick); 5 grandchildren, Alyssa and Cody Taylor, Heather Spence and Allison and Emma Lanctot; 2 great-grandchildren, Xavier Giraldo and Aspen Taylor. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 2:00PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of Lake County.
