Jody Ann Newman's Obituary
Jody Ann Newman, 69, of Clermont, FL, passed away on January 10, 2022. She was born on October 21, 1952, in Orlando, FL, to her parents: James and Betty Grainger. Jody was a teacher and administrator in education and was past chairperson and current vice chairperson for the Florida Board of Nursing. She was an avid reader of the Bible. She was a member of Family Christian Center where she also worked as a support person in their school. She worked as a teacher and administrator in the Lake County School system for many years. She retired from the Orange County School system as an administrator.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years: Raymond Newman; children: Lance (Sherri) Bryant and Clinton (Katheryn Wright) Bryant. Grandchildren: Logan Bryant; Landyn Bryant and Wesley Bryant-Wright.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 11AM with Pastor Rick Van Wagner officiating and a viewing prior to service from 10:00-11:00AM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home in Tavares, FL.
