2 things I remember and appreciate are that Jo Ann helped me with my kakiuniform I had when I worked on Isanti, and that Jo Ann on Christmas decorate with the robins my mother has done.
We are so happy that we met Jo Ann and Paul in Feb 2016 in Mt Dora.
Best regards from Sweden

We've had some pretty good times with our kids growing up together here on 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale. And all the cocktail parties we had with Bruce & Cecil and Harl &Clara .. Patty and Howard... we had a pretty nice community along with the Boatyard across the street from us.. sometimes you wonder why things really have to change.. Rachel ..so sorry for your loss ..can't be easy for sure ! With love ...Cathy Puskarich
JoAnn was a very caring happy lady. I met her through Sally and Wally Nebel. I enjoyed seeing her and visiting with her in Mt Dora when I was there and also when Paul and JoAnn came to Minnesota. Such a trooper to fight her way though all of her illnesses. May all your wonderful memories sustain you though difficult days. I will be keeping all of you who survive her in my thoughts and prayers. Fondly, Claudine Coughlin, Burnsville, Minnesota.
Words cannot express our deep sorrow with the loss of JoAnn. Pat has been sharing so many stories of when he met Paul and, then, JoAnn, in Fort Lauderdale at the marina. I met you both much later but agree with him that our times together were THE best! JoAnn was a wonderful cook and both Jo and Paul such gracious hosts. We enjoyed our trips to see them, in Fort Lauderdale and Mt. Dora, and loved when they looked us up, in Anna Maria and Wyoming. The world has greatly changed without JoAnn White's loving kindness in it. We send our condolences, love, and hugs to Paul, the girls, and their families. Pat and Anita Fletcher, Wapiti, WY
Dear Paul and Family. Joanne had to be one if the most wonderful friends I have known. Loved our times together sitting on your dock, having wine and great conversation. And, enjoying beautiful Lake Dora. Also our nice walks along the shore. Always so happy when you could attend our H S. Reunions. Jo will be missed by all you who were lucky enough to be called her friend. Love, Priscilla Erickson.
My husband and I met the Whites when we bought one of their RV's.
When we entered the RV JoAnn left a vase of roses for us. She was one of the most thoughtful people we knew.
We were instant friends. What a beautiful person inside and out.
They visited us in Tennessee on several of there trips through. We enjoyed visits to their home in Mount Dora
I so enjoyed all the stories of their adventures every where they went. She was a great writer.
She will be missed by many.

JoAnn was my best friend in high school in Saginaw Michigan and a wonderful friend she was. She played the clarinet in the band and I played the flute. But we liked being drum majorettes most of all and twirled our batons at many a football game and school assembly program. We were really boy crazy and conspired ways to attract the boys...and we were generally successful. In fact, JoAnn was part of my ending up with my husband of 58 years, Rick Schaefer. We went to different colleges but never lost touch making sure we would do our best to attend all the class reunions. I loved her and will miss her.
