Joan dedicated much of her professional life as a travel agent, a career that perfectly reflected her love of exploration and connection. Through her work—and alongside her beloved husband—she traveled the world, collecting experiences, memories, and stories that she cherished and shared with those she loved.
She was married to Ronald G. Decker, her high school sweetheart and lifelong partner. Together, Joan and Ron shared a deep and enduring bond that began in their youth and carried through every chapter of their lives. Their journey together was marked by love, companionship, and countless adventures across the globe.
Joan is survived by her children, Mark Decker, Lisa Decker, Susan Decker, and Eric Decker. Her family was the heart of her world, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength that will continue through them.
She will be remembered for her grace, her adventurous spirit, her devotion to family, and the warmth she extended to everyone she met. Joan’s presence was a gift, and her memory will continue to bring comfort and love to all who knew her.
