Jesse Ray Coan, Jr., age 81, of Tavares passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. He was born February 1, 1933 in Sycamore, IL. He was a retired Vice President with Solvay and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Phillip Lutheran Church, Mt. Dora, FL and was a member of SCORE. He is survived by his son, Kevin M. Coan and daughter-in-law, Deborah K. Coan of Vernon, CT; sisters, Ruth Craig of DeKalb, IL and Nancy Wagoner of Sycamore, IL; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Coan and a son, Kenneth Gene Coan. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00AM at St. Phillip Lutheran Church, Mt. Dora, FL.
