Jerry A. Michaels, age 73, of Tavares passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017. He was born July 22, 1943 in Chippewa Lake, OH and moved to Florida from Cleveland, OH. He was a retired Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician in the Steel Mill industry. He was also veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Michaels of Tavares, FL; daughter, Michelle Michaels of Cleveland, OH; brothers, Ron Michaels of Tavares, FL, Jim Michaels of FL, Dick “Gus” Michaels of FL. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00PM in the funeral home chapel. There will also be services held in Ohio.
