Jeanne Anne Minardi's Obituary
Jeanne A. Minardi, 82, passed away on March 24, 2026, in Mount Dora, Florida, following a brief illness.
Jeanne was born on February 9, 1944, in New York City, New York. A devoted homemaker, she centered her life around her family, guided by her deep love of the Lord and her Catholic faith. She served as a Eucharistic minister for 15 years and was deeply committed to the sacrament of marriage, offering pre-marriage counseling to engaged couples through her church for over a decade.
Jeanne had a joyful, competitive spirit and excelled at games of all kinds, with a special fondness for mahjong and Rummikub. She also enjoyed an active lifestyle, spending many years playing golf and tennis—pastimes she cherished—until a debilitating neurological condition made it no longer possible for her to continue many of the activities she loved.
She is survived by Frank, her loving husband of 61 years; son, Mark Minardi and daughter-in-law Jenny; her daughter, Krista McTeer and son-in-law Allen, and her beloved grandsons, Quentin, Dominick, Evan, Carson, Gabriel, and Griffin.
Jeanne’s greatest joy was her family, and her legacy lives on through them. She will be remembered for her love, strength, and the care she gave so selflessly to those around her.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 6803 Old Highway 441 S, Mount Dora, FL, with interment to follow immediately afterwards at Lakeside Memory Gardens, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL.
Following the interment, a light luncheon will be served at Lakeside at Waterman Village, 301 Lake Margaret Cir, Mount Dora, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the ALS Therapy Development Institute at https://www.als.net/
