Janice M. Johnson's Obituary
Janice M. ‘Jan’ Johnson of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the age of 86 years. She was born in Moline, Illinois and moved to Mount Dora 10 weeks ago from San Gabriel, California. Jan was a retired Pharmacist. She was known to be an incredibly hard working lady and didn’t retire until she was 70. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of San Gabriel. Jan loved to read. She also loved to travel and enjoyed the beach. In her free time, she did needlework. Jan was preceded in death by her sister in 1986, Jean Donahue. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her nieces, Mary (Tom) Taber of Tavares, Florida and Maureen (Keith) Wolfe of Pinellas Park, Florida; nephew, Michael Donahue of Tampa, Florida; great nephews, Nicholas (Michele) Taber of Dawsonville, Georgia and Kevin (Sopheak) Taber of Sugar Loaf, Pennsylvania; great niece, Justine Taber of Beaver, Oregon; as well as 2 great-great nieces and 2 great-great nephews.
A memorial ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
