Janet Travis' Obituary
Janet Travis of Eustis, Florida passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the age of 64 years. She was born in Manteno, Illinois to Leslie and Shirley Sorensen. Janet moved to the Lake County, Florida area in 1980 from Illinois. She was working for the Pringle Home Building Group as a real estate broker. In her free time she loved to be with her grandchildren more than anything. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2006 by her son, Nick Travis. She is survived by Robert Travis, her daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Curtis Creech of Eustis; sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Jerry Klein of Minooka, Illinois; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Pat Sorensen of Groveland, Florida; brother Allen Sorensen of Wilmington, Illinois; grandchildren, Caden, Taylor and Candace and nephews and nieces, Todd (Lisa) Holmes of Wilmington, Illinois, Kari (Kenny) Baker of Joliet, Illinois and Ciara & Skylar Sorensen of Groveland.
A Memorial ceremony will be held on Friday , July 10, 2015 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting memorial donations to help cover funeral expenses. Donations may be made to her daughter, Traci Creech.
