Jane M. Babcock's Obituary
Jane M. Babcock of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the age of 77 years. She was born in Granville, New York. Jane obtained her Masters degree and worked as a teacher in New York. She then went on to become a Social Worker. After moving to Florida in 1990 she continued her work as a Social Worker for Lake County. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Leesburg. Jane was an artist and spent much of her free time dedicated to her craft. She also enjoyed gardening. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her husband of 55 years, Joseph; daughter, Elyse W. Babcock of Leesburg; son, Kristopher Babcock and his wife, Kathryn of Ardmore, Pennsylvania; brother Elwyn W. Holcomb, Jr. and his wife, Betty of Deland, Florida; sister, Sandra Jean Hammond and her husband, Don of Comstock, New York and her three wonderful grandchildren, Grace Harpole and her husband, Kyle of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Justine Marie Babcock of Ardmore and Rachel Marie Bishop of Leesburg.
