James William Paine's Obituary
Paine, James W. He was known for his passion for life and impact on people. He was born in 1941 in Fostoria, Ohio where he graduated from Fostoria High School. Jim excelled in tennis, drama and jazz band. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He progressed in his career through Richardson Vicks, Liggett-Myers, Combe Inc., Olin Chemical and Comart. Then he became owner of a marketing and PR business, Paine-Williams, Inc. While president of this company, he won several prestigious Clio awards. He enjoyed being a member of Lake Square Presbyterian Church where he recently served as an Elder. Mr. Paine is survived by his wonderful wife of forty-five years, Marilyn Pralle Paine, and four loving daughters, Stephanie Paine Walters, Holly Paine, Ashley Paine and Wendy Paine Miller and six super grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, William James Paine and Gladys Coppus Paine and his sister Marcia. The memorial service was held Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Square Presbyterian Church, 10200 Morningside Drive, Leesburg, FL. 34788 (352) 728-1620. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Humane Society or Doctors without Borders or the charity of your choice.
