James S. Snyder Jr.'s Obituary
James S. Snyder, Jr., age 84, of Tavares passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017. He was born July 26, 1933 in Baltimore, MD and moved to Lake County in 1982 from West Palm Beach, FL. He was a retired Pari-mutuel Clerk in the horse racing industry. He was a member of the Triangle Boat Club and was an avid bowler. He is survived by his son, Kevin James Snyder of Eustis, FL; daughters, Kim Marie Thompson of Daytona, FL, Kerri Louise Spencer of Oviedo, FL; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Snyder; and a daughter, Karen Loretta Snyder. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 9:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mt. Dora, FL. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis, FL.
