It's Memorial Day and I can't help but think of you Jim. So many stories you told me as we had coffee in the morning on my carport. I remember one time I asked if you would like to go to the pool for a swim and your answer surprised me. No. you said I can't because I have a hard time not when getting into the pool but when coming out. You said that It brought up memories of coming up out of the fox holes in Vietnam and it caused you a lot of anxiety. So. on this Memorial Day I just want to say that I'll meet you on Rainbow bridge after Missy so we can meet there on the bridge and not in the hole.

I can still hear that laugh and see that smile each morning when I open my door and greet that empty trailer and then I smile cause I remember YOU!!

I will always miss you.

He is going to be missed soooo much by so many people. I used to drop everything everytime he came back to PA. Just so we can go get some cheesesteaks☺️ Always made me smile. I'm sure going to miss talking to him on the phone. I guess we are all going to cherish the memories we have and know that he loved us all as much as we loved him. Love you Uncle Jim❤️❤️

To John, Chad and the entire Leibensberger Family. Over the year's Friends and Family sometimes go their own ways. But remain close to the heart. My Father and "Jimmy" as we knew him were great Friends from the days immediately following the Vietnam War. Remained Friends the rest of their lives. To John and your Brother Chad, We had our Memories years ago. Building Forts... and fires. lol. As we go on with our lives, We lose the loved ones that were close to us. No matter what we think we are ready for, We are truly not. God Bless all of you! John,Chad and the entire Leibensberger Family.

It was my pleasure to have Jim as my neighbor for the last four years. I will miss his booming voice and his stories. Always with a kind word a smile and a joke to brighten my day. I will miss you terribly. Our loss is heaven's gain. Rest in Peace Jim.

John , Chad and families, I am so sorry to hear. It has been awhile but many good memories come to mind. One that sticks out always was the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Evenly spaced branches that went perfectly around with gaping spaces in between so you could see all the ornaments. You all must have been tree shopping for a long time to find that one. I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Jim....too many to list. The one that sticks most in my mind, and to this day brings a smile and a laugh to me, is when he gave me my 21st birthday present. I always told him when I turn 21, I want "a cold beer in a dirty glass". So my present was....when I unwrapped it.....a beer wrapped in tin foil so it would stay cold and a glass with a man on it. As the cold beer hit the glass, the mans clothes faded away. Uncle Jim said "Can't get any dirtier than that!!". Growing up with him, John and Chad were really good times. The thing that gives me comfort is to know he's with so many friends and family that he hasn't seen in a long time......and I know when my time comes, he'll be waiting for me with a kiss and a warm hug. Until then, John and Chad - your Dad will always be in your heart, and there, he will never leave. Hugs and kisses to you and your families.
