James "Jimmy" Gregory Hunter's Obituary
JAMES GREGORY “ JIMMY” HUNTER, 16, went to be with his Heavenly Father peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Vitas Hospice in Orlando.
A 6th generation of Hunter, he was born on May 4, 2004 in Tavares, Fl to Spencer B. Hunter and Jocelyn “ Joy” Reyes-Hunter.
Even at a young age, Jimmy was able to accomplish many things. He earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do when he was 8 yrs old. He loves cruises and always looked forward to his trip to the Philippines (every 2 years ) ,island hopping . He was an avid gamer and played guitar and piano. He was very adventurous and loved being outdoors which included his love for soccer ,golf and skateboarding.
He is survived by his loving parents, Spencer and Joy Hunter ; brothers : Justin (Precious) and Jared ; nephew : Jream ; grandparents: Jose and Josefa Reyes (in the Philippines), James Michael Hunter (Denise) and Rhonda Hoffmann ( Wayne) ; uncles, aunts, cousins and his “furry best friend” Rocky.
Jimmy was cremated on Monday, December 21st at Metro Crematory in Ocoee, Fl. His cremains stayed at the family residence for the holidays. He was laid to his final resting place at Tavares Cemetery on Monday, December 28, 2020 , attended by family and friends, followed by an intimate memorial service/ gathering in Mt. Dora.
