James "Jim" D. Ellison's Obituary
James D. “Jim” Ellison of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the age of 75 years. He was born in Whitesville, New York and moved to Florida in July 1989 . Jim was a man of many talents and had several jobs over the years, but prided himself most on being a truck driver. He was a family man and loved cars, especially anything made by Ford. He collected die cast cars for fun and enjoyed listening to music. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for someone he loved. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of nearly 57 years, Carolyn; sons, Kevin (Darla) Ellison and Scott (Mary Dawn Lewis) Ellison; daughter, Karen (Robert) Lightsey ; sister, Mary Angela Dunbar; grandchildren, Zackery Wildman, Brittany Ellison, Rachel Ellison, Kristie (Matthew) Petree, Coley Lewis-Ellison, Dylan Lewis-Ellison, Erika Lewis-Ellison, Falyn Lewis-Ellison and Graci Lewis-Ellison; and great granddaughter, Emma Lightsey.
