James Edward Fussell's Obituary
James Edward Fussell, 79, of Eustis, Florida, entered fully into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 6, 2020.
James was born in Altha, Florida on March 8, 1941 to Martin E. and Georgia V. Fussell. James graduated from Lee Academy in Cleveland, Tennessee and attended college. He was married July 2, 1960 to Bertha Moree Fussell in Riviera Beach, Florida. They celebrated their 60th Anniversary this year.
He is survived by his wife Bertha Moree Fussell of Eustis; daughters, Theresa (Walter) Frisby of Tavares, Beverly (Greg) Evans of Green Cove Springs; grandchildren, Jacob Frisby, Joshua Frisby, Sarah Evans, Candace Evans, Caleb Evans, and Riley (Jacob) Michels; great grandchildren, Kinsley Frisby, Lanie Frisby, and Trenton Frisby; brother, Marcus (Louise) Fussell; aunts, Magdalene (David) Sarvis and Violet (Daniel) Cupp; in addition he leaves behind brothers in law and sisters in law, Christopher and Sarah Moree, Rosa McClain, Douglas Bird; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly (Bruce) Stout and his grandson James Frisby.
James was a devout Christian and lifetime member of the Church of God and attended church in Pompano, West Palm Beach, Riviera Beach, Mount Dora, Pine Hills, Apopka, and Zellwood. He taught Sunday School, served as the church clerk, was the choir director, and did various other jobs that were put before him to serve his Lord and Savior.
James was a manager of an Agricultural and Chemical business in Plymouth, Florida. He used this opportunity to train and mentor his employees to serve to the best of their ability.
James' hobbies included fishing and building nine homes in his spare time.
