James E. Askins' Obituary
James E. Askins, Jr., age 70, of Tavares passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013. He was born July 8, 1943 in Hilo, Hawaii. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked for the Department of Defense. He was a member of the First Assembly of God, Eustis. He is survived by his wife, June Askins of Tavares, FL; sons, James Askins of Tavares, FL and Jon Askins of Orlando, FL; sisters, Joann Koston of DE and Charlene Thompson of Casselberry, FL; grandchildren, Megan, Pamela, Samantha, and Jon Riley. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 3:00PM at the First Assembly of God, Eustis. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444. Online condolences may be left on the Tribute Wall.
