Jack (my pop pop) was an amazing grandfather to me, I spent many days and nights at his house (usually playing in the dirt or leaves) he was always there when I needed someone and loved me unconditionally. As I grew up he would only be in Ohio over the summer so I did not get to see him as much but I loved going to visit him at craftsman park when I had the free time, we would sit outside and watch the birds or go to the bon fires and just talk and laugh. I went down to Florida one year for spring break, it was a great trip mostly spent at the pool or riding bikes and shopping or going out to dinner. I’ll never forget how he always had a bowl of ice cream and 2 cookies after dinner (of course I joined in on this) he had a love for old westerns (books and movies) I only wish that I would have spent more time with him and that aria would have gotten to know her great grandfather more as she grows up.
He will always be my pop pop just now he will be watching over myself and my family. R.I.P POP POP
