Hulen Edmonds' Obituary
Hulen Edmonds, age 86, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Born in Varney, WV, to Charles and Theadocia Edmonds, he was one of 5 siblings. He was a 20-year Navy Veteran, Petty Officer, 1st Class, stationed at various bases such as Midway Island and Long Beach, California. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for the Lubrizol Corporation in Wickliffe, Ohio, as a machinist in the mechanical engineering group. He and his wife moved to Florida in the early nineties to enjoy their retirement. He loved to play golf with family and friends and was an avid fan of Western movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters.
Hulen is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary E. Edmonds of Leesburg, FL: his brother-in-law, Harold Church of Eustis, FL: nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 28, 2020, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 AM, at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis, FL.
