Henry Dan Prewitt's Obituary
Mr. Henry Dan Prewitt of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the age of 83 years. He was born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. He served his country in the US Army during World War II and the Koran Conflict. Dan also served in the US Air Force and later in the US Marine Corp Reserves. He met and married Stella and they spent 60 wonderful years together. Dan retired from NCR in Dayton Ohio as Director of Manufacturing after 33 years of service. He and Stella have been in Florida for 20 years, moving to Texas for a short period in between. Dan is a member of the Lake Square Presbyterian Church in Leesburg. He was past President of the Lakes of Leesburg and was a former Shriner and Mason. He was preceded in death by his sons, Joe and Jeff Prewitt. Dan is remembered and will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Stella “Pinky” Prewitt; daughter, Tammie Fallon and her husband, Peter of New York; grandchildren, Amy Prewitt-Engel and her husband, Chris of Ohio; Chad Prewitt and his wife, Maggie of Ohio; Elijah Prewitt-Davis and his wife, Alisha of New Jersey; Brent Fallon of New York and Taylor Fallon of New York; great grandchildren, Brigid, Jacob, Hannah, Emily, Hank and Sophia; brother, Tom Prewitt of Kentucky; sister, Shirley Sands of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. A memorial ceremony was held at the Lakes of Leesburg Clubhouse. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
