Helen loved her family and was always there for all of them. A lifelong
Methodist, she was a member of her beloved 1st Methodist of Mount Dora, Fl.
She retired from Orange County School System where she worked as a lunchroom
manager at Ridgewood Elementary in Orlando, Fl. She loved working with all of
the children. Helen moved from Orlando to Tavares in Lake County, Fl. with Donald and Carleen
in the Venetian Village. She was so happy there and became a member of the
Community Center at 448 Club of Lake Gem. She also loved being a “Red Hat
Member” with all of her friends. Helen also helped Carleen at Salon 561. She was a great help! She kept everyone straight, including the salon’s books. Needless to say, she helped in
so many other ways that are too lengthy to list. She had many talents: flower
arranging, sewing, drapery making, and many other crafts.
Helen was always happy, loving and supportive to all her family. She will be
greatly missed! But, we are happy she will join her husband Robert Carl, son
Rodney, brothers, sisters, mother, father and all other family members waiting for her with her Heavenly Father. With all our love and respect, Carleen Ridley Romer and Donald M. Ridley
