Helen Hart Hipps' Obituary
Helen Hart Hipps of Eustis went to Heaven on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the age of 90 years. She was born in Conway, South Carolina. Helen married the love of her life, Dewey, in 1954 and they moved to Lake County from Deerfield Beach, Florida in 1974. She was a Christian and a member of Bay Street Baptist Church in Eustis. She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and loved to cook. Helen loved her family dearly. She was an amazing cook and nothing brought her greater joy then gathering with her family and cooking and serving delicious meals.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Lee Hipps, Jr. in 2007; her daughter, Wanda Walsh and her son-in-law, Billy Albright. Helen is remembered and will be dearly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Ray Williams of Leesburg; daughter, Donna Albright of Pacolet, South Carolina; son-in-law, Tom Walsh of Eustis; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband at Florida National Cemetery. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
