Harry Paul Swinnes' Obituary
Harry Paul Swinnes Jr., Age 65, of Leesburg, passed away on Friday, May 5th, 2023 after a struggle with a brief illness.
Born in Manhattan, NY to Harry and Karin Swinnes, Harry was a smart and fun loving boy. Harry was always interested in science and was very mechanically inclined. He attended Stuyvesant High School, and achieved a Bachelor's degree in Geology from SUNY New Paltz.
Harry married his first wife young and had one son with her. He later went on to remarry.
He was a successful business owner for many years. He offered many different services, from locksmith services to home security to car security to even home renovations. He was a jack of many trades and very much like "MacGyver". If you had a problem, Harry had a solution.
Harry was a science enthusiast and a collector of knowledge. He was hardworking, supportive and always willing to lend a hand when he was able to.
Harry was predeceased by his father, Harry Paul Swinnes. Harry leaves behind his mother, Karin Swinnes, his wife of almost 20 years, Helena Swinnes, his son and son's wife, Harry and Harmoni Swinnes, his step-daughter and her husband, Caitlin and Craig Moore, his grandchildren, Collin, Tobias, Xander, Ara, Raiden, Emeric and Bree.
A memorial celebration will be held on May 27th at 1pm at Corley Island Mobile Manor's clubhouse 138 Kings Blvd, Leesburg, FL 34748
