Harry Hawkins Rainey, 90 of Fern Park, FL went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Harry was born on August 29, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to the late George and Ruth Rainey. Harry was a World War 2 Navy veteran and worked 65 years in the Florida Citrus Industry. He is predeceased by his Daughter: Wendy Ann, in 1977; He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years: Euphemia "Effie" McLean Rainey; Three children: Twins- Ruth Ellen Neal and Mary Lou Chapel and Son: Harry, Jr. Three Grandchildren; Ten Great grandchildren; and One Great-Great Grandchild. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00AM at Pine Forest Cemetery, located at: 1699 N. Donnelly St. Mt. Dora, FL 32757. Services have been entrusted to Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, located at: 226 East Burleigh Blvd. Tavares, FL 32778. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on the tribute wall.
