Harriet R. Masterton's Obituary
Harriet R. Masterton, 93, went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2017. Harriet was born on November 26, 1923 in Kearny, New Jersey to Thelma and John Reid. She graduated from Medical University of South Carolina with a degree in nursing and served as a nurse, including time in the Navy. More recently Harriet was an avid reader, volunteer, and member of First United Methodist Church of Tavares.
Harriet is survived by her sister Barbara and brother-in-law Ernest Wingard, son-in-law Jerry Armes, grand-daughters Kristin (Wayne) Carr and Lisa (Floyd) Larry, great-grandsons Stephon Larry and Steven Carr, great-granddaughters Brooklyn Larry and Aidra Carr, and many, many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband George K. Masterton and daughter Barbara H. Armes.
Harriet will be laid to rest at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis.
