Grayden Howard Deats' Obituary
Grayden "Butter" Deats passed away on Sunday May 15th, 2011 at the age of 88 years. He was born in Shippen,PA to Farnham and Helen Cook Deats. Grayden Deats was an Army Veteran of WWII. He retired from the Ingersoll Rand Local 313. He lived in Addison for over 40 years and spent numerous years as an Auxiliary Policeman with the Addision PD. He moved to Leesburg, FL in 1997. He was an avid sportsman who loved fishing and hunting.He is predeceased by his wife June Shelly who after 50+ years of marriage passed in 1996. He will be lovingly remembered by a brother Gordon Deats of Bath, NY, his three daughters, Cheryl Hunt of Leesburg,FL, Helen Mosher of Leesburg, FL, Laurie (Mrs.Gary)Schilling of Howey, FL, grandchildren,Sean Deats of Painted Post,NY,Tina Mosher of Horseheads,NY, Melinda Hunt- Hungerford of Wiersdale,FL Jenna and Garrett Schilling of Howey,FL, six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.Grayden's final resting place will be at the Addison Rural Cemetery in Addison, NY. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish Funerals and Cremations 226 E. Burleigh Blvd, Tavares, FL 32778. 353-343-9444.
