Gladys Elaine Sachse's Obituary
Gladys Elaine Sachse, 100 years young, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 10, 2021. "Glady", as she was affectionally known, was born on June 17, 1920 in Reading, Massachusetts to Phineas and Gladys Killam. Glady was a resident of Osprey Lodge, in Tavares for several years. One of her favorite things to do was to play cards. It didn't matter what game it was or if she knew how to play, Glady was always willing to learn and to master the new skill. She was also loved to play Bingo and was always ready to go and eat out at a favorite restaurant. Glady was predeceased by her beloved husband Herman Rudolph Sachse, Son, Robert Lee Murphy and cousin Elaine Brown. She is survived by cousin, Larry Brown and very dear friend and extended soul sister; Janet Jarrells of Leesburg, Florida. Since meeting in 2004, they have been inseparable. Sharing and enjoying each other's company and favorite restaurant's as well as card games for 17 years. A gathering of friends and family is scheduled for Saturday, January 30th, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, Florida 32778. Then, at 2:00 PM, a Celebration of Life Memorial Service is scheduled with Pastor Bishop Sandy Gamble officiating. Glady's place of rest will be with her husband, Herman at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida in private and at a later date.
