Gerald Dellinger's Obituary
Gerald Dellinger, age 90, of Leesburg passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016. He was born February 8, 1926 in New Albany, IN and moved to Lake County in July of 1989 from Richmond, IN. He was a retired watchmaker and jeweler. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in WWII and was a Mason. He is survived by his wife, Louise Jean Dellinger of Leesburg, FL; sons, Allen Dellinger of Knightstown, IN, Wayne Dellinger of Leesburg, FL; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:30AM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. Inurnment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778; www.cshospice.org Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
