Gerald Wayne Brown's Obituary
Gerald “Jerry” Wayne Brown, 91, of Tavares, Fl, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025. He was born on April 16, 1933, in Butler, IN, to his parents: Phillip and Beulah Brown. Jerry was a skilled toolmaker who dedicated his career to Zollner Pistons Co. A proud United States Army veteran, he was also a devoted member of Life Community Church. Jerry cherished time spent with his beloved wife, Sharon, their children, Debbie and Jerry Dean, and his grandchildren.
An avid outdoorsman, Jerry found joy in fishing, camping with friends, and watching NASCAR races. He also loved working on the farm, especially running the tractors. Known for his incredible ability to fix anything, Jerry was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His generosity, kindness, and warm spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Sharon Brown; his children, Jerry (Rosi) Brown and Debbie (Bill) Haynes his grandchildren, Andrea (James) Torzewski Brown, Leslie (Stefan) Peters, Brittney Roberts, Josef (Christie) Roberts; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Clara Jane Hones. Jerry was preceded in death by his other siblings.
