George and I met in Boca Raton many years ago and were friends ever after. Though we saw each other not so often in recent years, he was always in my thoughts and I treasured his friendship. George was, I can say, responsible for my wife Terry and I getting together. He encouraged me to ask her out the first time and suggested we have dinner together at his own restaurant. As I recall, the chef did not show up that night and George cooked the meals himself. It must have been good because we've been married now 34 years. We so enjoyed our visits to George and Christine's home in Mount Dora, and before that in Germany and in Holland and in South Florida. I will miss him so much.
