George C. Hiplsey Jr.'s Obituary
George C. Hipsley, Jr., age 80, of Leesburg passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015. He was born May 2, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Lake County in 2001 from Naples, FL. He was a retired supervisor with a gas company and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a resident at Lakes of Leesburg, where he was a Past President of the LLRA. He was also a member of the Elks and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Gardner of Leesburg, FL; 6 step-children; 15 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lakes of Leesburg Clubhouse on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 1:00PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444. Online condolences may be left on the Tribute Wall.
