George Joseph Carattini's Obituary
George Joseph Caratinni, age 72, of Leesburg passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. He was born September 17, 1952 in Coney Island, NY and moved to Lake County in the 80’s from Lantana, FL. He was a retired Police Officer and a Corrections Officer. He loved martial arts and even owned his own Dojo. He taught self-defense to his coworkers in law enforcement. He is survived by his wife, Pearl Lynn Carattini of Leesburg, FL. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 10:00AM until 11:30AM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Graveside Service will follow at 12:00PM at Tavares Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E.
