George A. Gifford's Obituary
George A. Gifford, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the age of 63 years. George was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late, George and Lila Gifford, who survives him. He moved to this area in 1978 from Hollywood, California. He was a member of the Actors Guild and acted in a few films in his younger years. George was also the former owner/operator of Hidden Treasures Antiques in Mount Dora. He was a car enthusiast, especially fond of old Oldsmobiles. George is remembered by his mother, Lila Gifford of Tavares; brothers, Gary (Joan) Gifford of Tavares and Michael (Diana) Gifford of Harlan, Iowa; and sister, Joan (Ken) Fuglestad of Martinsville, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 237 East Marks Street, Orlando, FL 32803. A Memorial Ceremony was held on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson-Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares.
