Gary Franklin Topham's Obituary
Gary Franklin Topham, 76, of Altoona, FL went to be with the Lord on Friday May 05, 2017. Gary was born on August 31, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Harry and Elizabeth Topham. Gary later moved to New Jersey, then to Maine and then to Florida. He worked for Benjamin Moore Paint for over 25 years where her was the top salesman for many years. Gary was a proud and active member of the Free Masons for many years. He enjoyed Boating, woodworking, reading, and spending time with his family and close friends. Gary will be remembered as a tenacious man with a wonderful sense of humor who was political, loving, responsible, and an overall good man. Gary is predeceased by his Brother: Harry Atkinson and Sister: Roberta Garman. He is survived by his loving partner of 30 years: Yoshiko Colbath, of Altoona, FL; Son: Barry Topham, of NY; Daughter: Eleanor (Anthony) Kubala, of NJ; Grand Daughters: Katelyn Kubala, of Princeton University and Kristina Kubala, of Rutgers University, Gary was extremely proud of his granddaughters and their dedication to continue their education at both universities.; Niece: Dawn Bailey; and Nephews: Christopher Garman, and Sean Atkinson. Gary was a loving partner, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by many.
Services have been entrusted to Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funerals and Cremations located at 226 East Burleigh Blvd. Tavares, FL 32778. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family on the tribute wall.
