I went to school with Gary and have many fond memories. It's great to read that he grew to be such a nice man because that's exactly how he was in his earlier years. I'm so sorry to just be finding out that he passed and will send prayers to his loved ones. R. I. P. Gary
I want to express my condolences to Gary's family and friends. I met him at the dog park - Pear park with Tugg. He was a funny and caring man. I am sad to hear he is gone.I hope that Tugg and his other dogs are in good hands. What a shock. I just heard of Gary's passing this morning. Gary was my pool guy for the last few years, but more than that he was a great friend to me and my dog Frances. It was a weekly ritual to hear Frances barking at the front window announcing Gary's arrival. Frances would rush out the front door to greet him at the gate with her tail wagging her whole body. After cleaning the pool the three of us would sit and talk about the week's activities for a few minutes. Gary loved his dog and loved life in general. Gary always had to tell me about a new restaurant he had found or about some happening around town for the weekend. Our talks covered a wide range of topics from his younger days in Fort Lauderdale, what he was watching on TV and what was happening in the neighborhood. This has broken our hearts. We love you Gary and you will always hold a special place in our hearts. You have been a very trusted friend for many years. You are a true example of a man that can be trused that holds true to your values. You have a very special place in Heaven, with animals. I gain comfort knowing that you will be protecting all of my pets until I am there to help him!! We used to laugh about being "Keeper of the dogs in heaven". The world has lost a very wonderful man.
