Gary John Grecco's Obituary
Gary John Grecco, age 82, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026. He was born on January 28, 1944.
Gary spent most of his life in Pennsylvania and enjoyed the past eight years as a Florida snowbird, where he and his spouse cherished their time with their horses. He was a proud member of FOE 3807 of Clarion, Pennsylvania, and was well known for his love of horseback riding, camping, baseball, and fishing—activities that brought him great joy throughout his life.
Gary dedicated his career to public service as the District Forester for District 8, Clear Creek District, and retired from the Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry after an admirable 33 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Beauseigneur Grecco. The couple were married on November 10, 1990, at West Side Methodist Church in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Gary is also survived by his sister‑in‑law, Lorraine Grecco (Dennis), of Brooklyn, NY; his son Chris Grecco (Hiedi) of Clearfield, PA; daughters Jennifer Martyn (Keith) of York, PA, and Sandra Bohin (David) of Butler, PA; nephews Jamie Grecco (Nancy) of Queens, NY, and John Grecco of Brooklyn, NY; and six grandchildren—Conner Martyn and Brendan Martyn of York, PA; Madeline Young; Mary Bohin and Andrew Bohin of Butler, PA; and Fairy Grecco of Clearfield, PA. He is also remembered fondly by many cousins.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dennis, and his daughter Kathy Young.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Clarion, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers.
