Franklin A. “Frank” Talbot of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the age of 93 years. He was born in Cambridge, Illinois. Frank proudly served his country in the US Army. He retired from John Deer after 20 years. Frank lived at Midway Manor Mobile Home Park in Leesburg. He was the groundskeeper for many years and was also the former manager for 9 years. In his free time he loved to go fishing. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret “Betty” Talbot on October 24, 1993 after 47 years of marriage. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Nila G. Talbot; sons, Larry Talbot and his wife, Paula of Russellville, Alabama and Michael Talbot and his wife, Sharon of Kewanee, Illinois; daughters, Christy Verschage and her husband, James of Orlando, Florida, Katherine Saparito of Boynton Beach, Florida and Suzie Ballard and her husband, Tim of Caledonia, Illinois; step sons, Michael Steward and his wife, Jane Lea of Worthington, Indiana and Russell Freeman and his wife, Teresa of Bloomington, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren. Services will be in Illinois under the direction of Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home in Kewanee, IL (309)852-2600. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
