Frank C. Urquhart's Obituary
Frank C. Urquhart of Tavares, Florida passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015. He was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Frank proudly served his country in World War II in the US Army. After his military service he obtained a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He went to work for the US Government working on spy cameras for satellites. Frank also taught High School for several years. He moved to this area from Burlington, Massachusetts nearly 30 years ago. He was preceded in death in 2007 by his wife of 54 years, Audrey. Frank will be dearly missed by his daughter, Carolyn Urquhart of Tavares; sons, Andrew Urquhart of Bristol, Rhode Island and Charles Urquhart of Hawaii; 2 grandchildren, Michael Lupis and his wife, Tonya of Revere, Massachusetts and Laura Fontaine of Derry, New Hampshire; as well as 5 great grandchildren, Alyvia, Natylie, Leah, Kevin and Christopher.
A memorial ceremony will be held in his honor in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778; www.CSHospice.org
