Frank William Andrews' Obituary
Frank William Andrews, 89, Leesburg, Florida passed away on November 30, 2015 at his residence under the loving care of his wife and staff of Cornerstone Hospice. Mr. Andrews was born on March 31, 1926 in Water Mill, Long Island, New York to his parents William Andrews and Honorata (Sztuka) Andrews. He and his wife moved to Leesburg (Scottish Highlands) 25 years ago from Huntington, New York. He was a retired Engineer from United Technologies in Melville, New York. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during World War II. He was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis, Florida and was a former member of the Elks Club of Tavares. Mr. Andrews was an artist who liked drawing and painting. He liked to act in variety performances, traveled extensively, and loved all the activities at Scottish Highlands. He started every day with a smile and enjoyed life to the fullest. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Alice M. Andrews of Leesburg, FL; three daughters: Mary Brown (George) of Maplewood, N.J., Susan Andrews of Queens, N.Y. and Patty O’Connell (Jay) of Maplewood, N.J.; five grandchildren: Jack, Emily, Molly, Devin and Declan and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Adele and a brother, Ray. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00AM at St. Mary of the Lakes, Eustis, Florida.
