Francis Edward Dale's Obituary
Francis Edward Dale, 95 Went to be with the Lord on May 03, 2016. Francis was born on September 21, 1920 in Cresson, PA to the late Felix and May Dale. Francis enlisted into the United States Army on September 05, 1950 and served in WWII and the Korean War he was then honorably discharged as Private First Class on June 12, 1952. Francis then started his career working in communications for the Pennsylvania Railroad where he worked for over 20 years. He then worked for Bethlehem Steel for 12 years. He and his wife Nancy moved to Tavares, FL in 1985 from Ft. Myers, FL. Francis was an active and devoted member of New Hope Presbyterian Church, Eustis, FL where he was a Deacon for over 20 years and a Deacon Emeritus for five years. Francis enjoyed camping, fishing and playing bingo. Francis Edward Dale was a loving husband, a loving and fabulous father, and a caring friend who will be deeply missed by many. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years: Nancy Dale, and Grandson: Robert Warren. He is survived by His Daughter: Lee Ann (Walter) Warren, of Tavares, FL; Grandson: James Warren; And many Friends at Waterman Village and New Hope Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM at New Hope Presbyterian Church, located at 19535 Eustis Airport Rd, Eustis, FL 32736. A second memorial service will be held on Wednesday May 18, 2016 at 10:30 AM at EdgeWater at Waterman Village located at 255 Waterman Ave, Mt. Dora, FL 32757. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to New Hope Presbyterian Church, Eustis, FL. On line condolences and memories may be shared on the tribute wall.
