Florence Hedegard's Obituary
Florence O. Hedegard 95, of Tavares and Ormond Beach passed away in Tavares on Monday January 31, 2011. She was born in Logansport, Indiana and was a Lutheran. Mrs. Hedegard was a retired beautician. She was predeceased by two husbands, Orlie Pumel and Sven Hedegard and her son Virgil Pumel. Mrs. Hedegard is survived by her daughters, Elaine (David) Cole of Whiteland, Indiana and Mary (Kuz) Parker of Astor, Florida, her companion James Conner of Tavares, stepchildren Glen Hedegard, Roger Hedegard and Sharon Lyles, and a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel in Tavares on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 11 AM with Chaplain Mark Douglas officiating, interment followed in The Tavares Cemetery. Friends gathered from 10 AM until the funeral hour.
