Florence Mae Foster's Obituary
Florence Mae Foster, age 88, of Eustis, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2026.
Florence was born on October 22, 1937, in Suwannee County, Florida. She spent much of her early life in North Florida before later making her home in Tallahassee. In the late 1990s, she relocated to Eustis, where she resided for the remainder of her life.
Florence dedicated many years of her career as a title clerk, working for property appraisers in two different Florida counties. She was known for her dependability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. A woman of faith, Florence was Baptist by belief and found comfort and community in her spiritual life.
In her free time, she greatly enjoyed sewing and crafting, talents she used both creatively and practically. Those close to her will remember her as a caring mother, grandmother, and great‑grandmother who took pride in her family and cherished time spent with them.
Florence is survived by her sons, Jeff Bryant and his wife, Dee, of Ocala, Florida; Alan Bryant of Eustis, Florida; and Scott Bryant of Ocklawaha, Florida; her sister, Mary Taylor of Lake City, Florida; three grandchildren; and two great‑grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Foster.
The family will hold a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis, Florida, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society in Florence’s memory.
